On average your hornworms will reach 3 to 4 inches and around 10grams.

At room temperature they will live for around three weeks. In a warmer environment they will grow faster and have a shorter lifespan. To slow down their growth you can refrigerate them and extend their life for a few days.
When the waste starts to build up, simply shake out the little yellow droppings into a trash can. You can remove the worms for this or shake gently to keep them inside the container.
The cups that the hornworms come in are designed to fully raise multiple large hornworms. Keep the ventilated lid on top and keep in a room temperature area for optimal growth.
